3Dim Capture app turns your smartphone into a 3D scanner. You can scan a whole building in a couple of minutes by walking around a building and recording it with 3Dim Capture. Review and download 3D models via 3Dim web interface. 3D models of small scans are free. 3D models: – Point clouds – Accuracy up to 1 cm – Great for taking measurements (already in the web interface) – Downloadable and CAD compatible Augmented Reality guidance is provided during scanning to ensure high quality of resulting 3D models. To achieve good scanning results aim to: – keep the virtual ball in the centre of your screen – do not turn in place when scanning – always move half-circles around the objects of interest – do not shake your phone – scanning works best where there are lots of textured surfaces, like brick buildings Compatible with most modern smartphones.
